About Me
I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychotherapy from the esteemed University of Strathclyde and am proud to be a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). With a solid foundation built during my placement at the NHS, I’ve honed my skills to provide compassionate and effective therapy.
With a wealth of diverse professional experience and extensive clinical practice, I specialize in counselling and talk therapy. My therapeutic expertise covers a range of mental health issues, including Anxiety Disorder, Depression, Social Anxiety, Split Personality Disorder, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, OCD, PTSD, Eating Disorders, Melancholia Depression, Postpartum Depression, Phobias, Paranoia, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation, Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
Additionally, I am trained to work with clients experiencing Sexual, Physical, Emotional abuse, Trauma, Grief, Loss, Domestic Violence, Addiction, and Imposter syndrome.
As a humanistic integrative therapist, my approach is non-directive, empathic, compassionate, genuine, and experimental, focusing on the here and now psychological process. Preserving client privacy is my top priority, and I strive to understand and accept my clients without judgment, facilitating their learning, inner validation, and reduction of their critical voice. Based on my past experience, clients typically experience a reduction in anxiety after 5 to 6 sessions when attending therapy regularly.
